Quake strikes Quebec City

A 4.1-magnitude earthquake rattled the south
shore of Quebec City Friday afternoon, but
there were no immediate reports of damage.
Earthquakes Canada, part of Natural
Resources Canada, said the epicentre of the
quake was located 45 kilometres southwest of
Quebec City, near Laurier-Station, Que.
The quake, deemed moderate, struck at
approximately 1:24 p.m. and was felt in the
Quebec City area and on its south shore.
