Fire Departments Investigate Unexplained Flash, Boom
Search For Source Will Resume Thursday Morning

BROOKE COUNTY, W. Va. -- Homes shook and windows broke when a white flash was followed by a loud boom heard throughout central Brooke County Wednesday night.

At 10:30 p.m., several fire trucks responded to the area around Reeves Drive in Wellsburg, where most of the reports originated.
