3.8 magnitude earthquake hits Chicago's west suburbs

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), a 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit between the towns of Virgil and Sycamore, IL located in Kane county early this morning.

The quake was initially reported as a 4.3 magnitude earthquake and revised after further studies of the wave forms.
