CHINA'S earthquake death toll has risen to 791 but there are now fears that survivors will face a plague outbreak.
Authorities warned of the potential outbreak as frantic search efforts continued for survivors in the wake of the 6.9-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday, which struck the remote northwest, high on the Tibetan plateau.
